If you are new to pet parenting, or if like us you have these two dogs with a lot of character, maybe our family schedule could help you figure out how to install a morning routine with the dogs for your pups. Something easy, that we follow every day since we adopted Happy. It wears them down so you can enjoy a nice peaceful day (and not the other way around!).

A little bit more explanation about our family morning routine
Mr T. is the early bird in the family. He wakes up at 6:30 am, then Happy wakes up. Rain or shine, he grab the leash, put his shoes and go for a short potty break. Sometimes the older dog wants to follow, sometimes no. It’s okay is wise enough to decide. Then at 7:00 am it’s my time to wake up. I grab my secret brand of coffee, because I am a monster without it. My sweet half then feed the dogs. Happy is fed in her crate. It’s good for her to appreciate it. The bowl of water is on the floor, just for 15 minutes, because Happy will show you what to do with water! She usually put her left front paw in it and flip it. So leave a towel on the kitchen counter. At 7:30am I put them in the car, and up we go to the park to walk for 15-20minutes. We work on loose leash walking mainly. My two dogs are almost 200 pounds together and if they pull me, I am doomed. So with a lots of obedience training and this every day morning walk, sometimes we look almost like pro!
